If you want to make a barista like coffee at your home, then you should use a coffee maker machine. There are different brands of coffee makers available in the market. Some of them are easy to use, and some of them required some instructions to understand the using process. Among different brands of coffee makers, Mr. Coffee is most accessible and affordable. If you have a Mr. coffee, but you don’t know how to use it, then you can follow the following instructions to make the task easy.
Here I have described the full process as step by step.
Choose the filter for your coffee. It can be a single shot or a double shot based on your preference. To insert the filter, ensure that you have aligned the notch on the filter with the groove. Now, fill the screen with espresso grounds. Tamp the filter firmly to make it level. Clean extra grounds from the rim of porta-filter.
Now, attach the porta filter with the coffee maker. You need to adjust it to brew head o unit with the proper alignment of the handle. You will find a lock icon in the screen where you have to fit the filter. Turn the filter right until the lock icon seems it is now fully secured.
In this step, you need to fill the reservoir with water. Mr. Coffee machine has a removable water tank which is easy to fill. Based on the demand of coffee, fill it with water.
Now, fill the milk reservoir with the right amount of milk. You can use the skim, whole, soy, almond, etc. milk based on your preference. If you have a milk frother, use it to froth the milk for a delicious coffee.
Select the Cup Size carefully in the control panel. You will find this option on the screen of the coffee maker machine. If you are willing to make an espresso, then you can select a 1.25 oz. or 2.54 oz. cup.
In this step, you will brew your favorite coffee with the Mr. coffee machine. Though different coffee has different brewing method, there are some similarities too. Keep the cup in the pour over the tray and adjust the height of the cup. Press the brew button to start the brewing process. Once, the brewing process is completed, you can pour your hot coffee directly into the cup.
